Join in on the newest fitness fad to hit the East Coast! Experience the peaceful, energizing benefits of Yoga while being gently lulled by the ripples of serene lake waters. This event consists of a 15-minute basic paddleboard lesson followed by a 60-minute Yoga class. Facilitated by a Certified Yoga Instructor, this class takes Yoga to the next level.
  • A minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 9 participants per SUP Yoga class
  • Pre-registration is required  
  • No prior SUP experience is necessary. 


PT Transformations (PTT) offers private and small group sessions with a Certified Yoga Instructor. 

  • Private sessions are 60 minutes long 
  • Small group sessions are 75 minutes long
  • Group sessions consist of a minimum of 3 people with a maximum 6 people
  • Sessions are scheduled based on the trainer and client’s mutual availability

PT Transformations (PTT) knows there isn’t just one way of getting healthy or exercising.  Even those who have their fitness routines down to a science can hit a plateau or become bored with a monotonous schedule.  That’s where PTT’s Adventure Fitness services like Yoga on the River and Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga come in.  

The ancient practice of yoga is all about being one with nature, and surrounding oneself with the sights, sounds, and smells of the outdoors is the best way to do that.  The inherent benefits of Hatha yoga (increased flexibility, muscular strength, endurance, and balance) are also accompanied by the positive emotional effects it can provide.  Exercising in natural environments has been studied and proven to increase feelings of revitalization, energy, and positive engagement as well as decrease tension, confusion, anger, and depression.  

SUP Yoga adds the element of an upper-body workout from paddling and increased core strengthening from balancing on an unstable surface.  Holding a plank position or half moon for any length of time becomes an incredible feat when your yoga mat moves when you do. 

Besides being a whole lot of fun, Yoga on the River and SUP Yoga take the predictability out of a normal yoga session.  All of your senses are stimulated – a chirp of a cricket, the breeze caressing your hair, the scent of wild flowers, a ripple extending outward – Mother Nature never paints the same picture twice!!
